Bodø/Glimt and Lille played out a goalless draw in their UEFA Champions League encounter at Aspmyra Stadion on Tuesday, with both sides failing to convert their chances.

The Norwegian hosts improved significantly after the break, creating the game’s two major scoring opportunities, but Lille goalkeeper Berke Özer produced a series of saves to keep his side in the contest.

Lille dominated possession in the first half, recording 58 per cent of the ball and attempting three shots, while Bodø/Glimt failed to register an effort before the interval.

The visitors also enjoyed a 361-266 advantage in completed passes during the opening period.

However, the momentum shifted after the restart as Bodø/Glimt took control of the game, enjoying 62 per cent possession and putting all four of their second-half shots on target.

Despite their improved attacking display, the hosts were unable to break the deadlock, with Özer making four saves for Lille.

Bodø/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikin also made two saves to preserve his side’s clean sheet.

Lille finished with nine shots compared to Bodø/Glimt’s four, although the hosts had the clearer opportunities, recording two big chances against none for the French side.
