UCL: Inter crush Feyenoord 3-0 to recover from derby loss

Inter Milan returned to winning ways in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday after securing a comfortable 3-0 victory over Feyenoord in their fourth league-phase match at De Kuip Stadium in the Netherlands.

The Italian side produced a convincing performance to recover from their disappointing 3-1 defeat to city rivals AC Milan in the Serie A derby days earlier.

Yann Bisseck opened the scoring for the visitors in the eighth minute, firing a powerful effort into the net to give Inter an early advantage.

Inter doubled their lead in the 34th minute when Francesco Pio Esposito headed home, putting the visitors in a commanding position before the interval.

The Nerazzurri continued their dominance after the restart, with Piotr Zielinski extending their advantage nine minutes into the second half through a spectacular strike to seal the victory.

The result marked Feyenoord’s first home defeat against an Italian club in the Champions League league phase.

The Dutch side had previously recorded four wins and two draws in six encounters against Italian opposition.

The victory moved Inter to six points and 14th position in the Champions League standings, while Feyenoord remained on three points in 30th place.
