Super Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, has added a Business Management degree to his achievements after graduating from Buckinghamshire New University in Wycombe, United Kingdom.
The Nottingham Forest forward’s academic milestone was disclosed by Europe-based Nigerian sports journalist Ojora Babatunde, who posted a photograph of the player dressed in his graduation gown.
“Super Eagles forward, Taiwo Awoniyi, bags a degree in Business Management from Buckinghamshire New University, Wycombe,” Babatunde wrote.
He added, “Man preparing for life after football. Congratulations Big Awo.”
Awoniyi pursued his studies alongside his professional football commitments, having previously disclosed that he was enrolled in a Business Management programme and working towards completing his degree.
The 28-year-old’s graduation follows a similar academic achievement by fellow Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who recently completed a diploma programme in Business and Management.
Awoniyi, who joined Nottingham Forest from German side Union Berlin in 2022, has continued his studies as he builds a foundation for life and career beyond professional football.
