The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has directed all registered intending pilgrims for the 2027 Hajj to submit their valid international passports on or before August 7 to facilitate the processing of their travel documents.

The directive was issued by the Director-General of the board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim-Matawalle, in a statement released on Tuesday by the board’s Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Dederi.

According to the statement, passport collection commenced on August 3 as part of preparations for the 2027 pilgrimage.

“The submission commenced on August 3 to enable the board to begin documentation and other administrative processes required for the 2027 Hajj exercise,” Ibrahim-Matawalle said.
