Lorient and Paris FC shared the points in a 1-1 draw after both sides found the net from set-piece situations.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Bamba Dieng turned in Pablo Pagis’ cross from close range after a corner had caused problems in the Paris FC box.
Paris FC responded in similar fashion midway through the second half. Marshall Munetsi bundled home from close range in the 74th minute after another corner delivery, this time following Pierre Lees-Melou’s cross into the danger area.
Despite Lorient having more attempts overall with 10 shots, Paris FC looked more dangerous in attack, forcing Yvon Mvogo into action on several occasions.
The Lorient goalkeeper made four saves to keep his side in the contest as Paris FC finished with five efforts on target from seven attempts.
Jean-Victor Makengo also impressed for Lorient in midfield, completing all 26 of his passes and coming close to scoring when he struck the post in the 66th minute before later being substituted.
The draw lifts Lorient from 10th to ninth in the table ahead of their next trip to Lyon, while Paris FC stay 13th and will welcome Monaco in their next league outing.
