Ligue 1: Marseille crush Angers in seven-goal thriller

Marseille produced an impressive attacking display to defeat Angers 5-2 away from home in Ligue 1 on Sunday, October 18, recovering from an early setback to claim all three points.

The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute through Lilian Raolisoa, putting Marseille under early pressure at the Stade Raymond Kopa.

However, Marseille gradually found their rhythm and drew level in the 37th minute when Himad Abdelli found the net.

The visitors completed their turnaround six minutes later, with Nouhoum Kamissoko scoring in the 43rd minute to give them a 2-1 advantage at half-time.

However, Marseille responded strongly in the closing stages to secure a convincing victory.

Amine Harit restored their two-goal cushion in the 83rd minute before Igor Paixao added the fifth goal two minutes later to complete the scoring.
