Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has been released from the hospital following medical treatment for injuries he sustained in a road accident along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed the development in a statement issued on Wednesday, noting that Joshua has been assessed by doctors and found stable enough to continue his recovery at home.
According to the statement, medical personnel declared the boxer clinically fit for discharge after undergoing necessary treatment, with doctors advising home recuperation.
