Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has revealed that Ebere Eze has always been eager to feature for the Gunners.
Arteta shared this after Eze netted the decisive goal against his former club, Crystal Palace, in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
“I didn’t see any difference. He’s super relaxed always before the game, always a big smile on his face,” Arteta told the club’s website.
“He’s desperate to play games, and I haven’t noticed anything different. He might be inside him, obviously; he’s been there a long time. It was such strong feelings and gratitude to Crystal Palace and today was a very special game for him.
“That’s what big players do and he’s certainly a big player and hopefully that’s going to give him a big boost and confidence to generate many more moments like this because that’s the moment that sometimes defines a season,” the Arsenal manager said.
The goal marked Eze’s first in the Premier League for Arsenal after seven appearances since his move from Palace in August.
