Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze, found the net as AC Milan wrapped up their Asia-Pacific pre-season tour with an emphatic 9-0 victory over Australia’s Perth Glory on Thursday.
The goal was Chukwueze’s contribution to a goal-laden performance that featured strikes from Filippo Terracciano, Noah Okafor (twice), Christian Comotto, Rafael Leao (brace), Samuele Ricci, and Yunus Musah.
The Nigerian international slotted home Milan’s fifth goal in the 31st minute.
The match marked the final game of Milan’s tour, which also saw a 2-1 win over Liverpool and a narrow 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Transfer Rumours Surround Chukwueze
At 26, Chukwueze’s future at the San Siro remains uncertain, with persistent reports linking him to a potential summer move.
Fulham are the latest club reportedly showing interest, while Everton and Spanish side Real Betis are also said to be monitoring the winger.
Milan’s Upcoming Fixtures
Chukwueze will aim to strengthen his case for a regular spot under manager Massimiliano Allegri when Milan take on Leeds United and Chelsea in their remaining pre-season friendlies.
The Rossoneri’s competitive campaign begins on August 17 with a Coppa Italia clash against Bari.
