Arsenal are on the brink of landing Chelsea winger Noni Madueke in a deal worth just over £50 million, sources have revealed.
The England international has reportedly agreed personal terms with the North London side, clearing a key hurdle in his anticipated switch from Stamford Bridge to the Emirates.
While the two Premier League rivals have reached a broad agreement on the transfer fee, a few contractual details are still being ironed out before the move is finalised.
Madueke, 23, is currently part of Chelsea’s squad at the FIFA Club World Cup and featured as a second-half substitute in their 2-0 victory over Brazil’s Fluminense, which secured the Blues a spot in the final.
Since arriving at Chelsea from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, Madueke has racked up 92 appearances and netted 20 goals.
Before his spell in the Eredivisie, he developed through the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur.
