Football supporters will be required to part with ₦3,000 for VIP tickets and ₦1,000 for regular seats to watch Nigeria’s Super Eagles take on Rwanda’s Amavubi in Saturday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, ticket sales will begin Friday morning at designated outlets across Uyo.

NFF Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, Alizor Chuks, emphasized that the federation is determined to clamp down on ticket racketeering.

“The NFF Security Committee has declared total war on ticket manipulators. Fakers and racketeers will not be spared. Tickets will be scanned at the gates, and only those purchased from accredited vendors will be valid. Offenders will face arrest and prosecution,” Chuks warned.

Meanwhile, Rwanda’s delegation touched down at Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, at 5:28 p.m. on Tuesday.

The team was led by Fabrice Shema Agoga, the newly elected president of the Rwandan FA and warmly received by officials of the local organizing committee.

The Amavubi contingent is lodged at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort and is scheduled to hold their first training session at the Nest of Champions’ practice pitch by 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
