British heavyweight boxer, Tyson Fury, has reiterated his desire to face Anthony Joshua next, while also making it clear he is ready to pivot to a trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk if the all-British blockbuster fails to happen.
Fury, who remains one of the most prominent figures in the heavyweight division, stressed that Joshua is his preferred opponent as negotiations continue around a potential mega-fight.
However, he also outlined an alternative plan should talks break down, saying, “If AJ don’t want it let’s get Usyk in the trilogy bout.”
The comment highlights Fury’s willingness to keep active at the elite level, with both Joshua and Usyk remaining central to the biggest possible matchups in boxing’s glamour division.
Fury and Usyk have already shared the ring twice in high-profile encounters that drew global attention, while a bout with Joshua continues to be one of the sport’s most in-demand fights.
For now, Fury’s next move remains dependent on negotiations, but his stance is clear—Joshua remains the priority, with Usyk waiting in the wings if needed.
