Swedish heavyweight, Otto Wallin, has revised his view on a potential clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, suggesting Fury still holds the edge to come out on top, even though he once described Joshua as the tougher opponent when they shared the ring.
Speaking to World Boxing News, Wallin highlighted Fury’s combination of size, movement, and technical ability as key factors that could decide the fight in his favour.
However, he also stressed that Joshua’s punching power and tactical improvements mean the contest would remain highly competitive.
Wallin believes the outcome could ultimately depend on fight-night execution and game planning from both men, insisting neither can be written off.
“Yeah, I think he can,” Wallin told WBN when asked whether Fury still beats Joshua.
“I think it’s a close fight, though. Joshua is obviously a big puncher, and Fury is a very good fighter, so it’s an interesting fight.
“It kind of depends on seeing where they are both at, but with a good game plan, I think Fury can beat Joshua. Also, the other way around, I think Joshua can beat Fury.
“For me, it’s a close fight and hard to pick a winner right now.”
