Super Falcons star Toni Payne excited with Inter move

Super Falcons midfielder, Toni Payne, has expressed her delight after sealing a move to Italian Serie A Women outfit Inter Women, describing the transfer as an exciting new chapter in her career.

The Nigeria international completed a two-year switch to the Nerazzurri on Saturday after leaving English Women’s Super League side Everton.

Payne spent two seasons with the Toffees, having joined the club on a free transfer in 2024 following the end of her spell with Spanish side Sevilla.

Speaking after her unveiling, the 31-year-old said she is eager to embrace the challenge of playing in Italy and contributing to Inter’s ambitions.
