Super Falcons defender Miracle Usani joins Turkish club ABB FOMGET

Super Falcons defender, Miracle Usani, has completed a move to Turkish Women’s Super League club ABB FOMGET ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Turkish side confirmed the signing on Saturday, with the 19-year-old Nigerian set to continue her career in Turkey.

Usani becomes the second Nigerian player to join the former Turkish champions this summer.

She follows compatriot Zipporah Agama, who recently arrived at the club from Spanish side Levante UD Femenino.

The young defender was part of the Super Falcons squad that won the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Usani featured once during the tournament as Nigeria secured a record-extending 10th continental title.

Her experience with the national team also includes participation at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India.

At domestic level, Usani played a key role in Edo Queens’ success during the 2023/24 Nigeria Women Football League season, when the club won the NWFL title.

Her impressive performances also earned her a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League Best XI in 2024.

The move to ABB FOMGET represents another step in Usani’s development as she looks to establish herself in European women’s football.
