Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has turned to artificial intelligence to showcase the achievements of his father’s administration, particularly in infrastructure and youth empowerment.
In a video circulating on social media, Seyi was seen introducing former Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, to AskCityBoy, an artificial intelligence platform designed to provide information about the achievements of President Tinubu.
The interaction took place during Edun’s visit to the headquarters of the City Boy Movement, where Seyi asked the AI platform to highlight some of the President’s infrastructure projects across the country.
Responding, the female-voiced AI assistant listed the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway among the administration’s major projects.
“The biggest road programme in decades, honestly. Lagos-Calabar, Phase One, 47 kilometres, was commissioned in May 2025, and the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway,” the AI assistant said.
Edun subsequently asked the platform what the Tinubu administration had done for young Nigerians.
In response, the AI assistant highlighted the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, the consumer credit initiative and the Three Million Technical Talent programme.
“Plenty for young people. NELFUND has supported about 1.64 million students, with over ₦300 billion disbursed. The consumer credit initiative gives young Nigerians direct access to credit, with zero non-performing loans.
“There’s also the Three Million Technical Talent programme, which has trained around 300,000 young people. You’re speaking to the demographic that’s the language of digital,” it said.
The 3MTT programme, launched in 2023 by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, is designed to equip Nigerians with technical skills in areas including software development, cybersecurity, data science, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Its first two phases targeted 300,000 participants.
Seyi Tinubu established the City Boy Movement in 2022 as a youth-focused political mobilisation platform in support of his father’s presidential ambition ahead of the 2023 general election.
The movement claims to have established structures across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, covering the 774 local government areas, wards and polling units.
It also claims a membership database of 4.8 million registered supporters, organised through state leaders, local coordinators, ward canvassers, a National Working Committee and state directors.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu has repeatedly urged Nigerians to remain patient with his administration’s economic reforms, maintaining that the policies are intended to reposition the country and deliver long-term benefits.
