Rafiu Durosinmi earned the Man of the Match accolade after helping Pisa secure a 1-1 draw against Atalanta at the Arena Garibaldi on Friday night.
The result brought an end to Atalanta’s three-game winning streak in Serie A.
Nikola Krstović had put the visitors ahead in the 83rd minute, only for Durosinmi to level the score four minutes later.
Making an immediate impact in his debut for Pisa, the 23-year-old Nigerian rose impressively to meet a cross from the right, guiding a powerful header into the far corner.
Durosinmi recently joined Alberto Gilardino’s squad from Czech First Division side Viktoria Plzen, marking an impressive start to his tenure with the Black and Blues.
