Super Eagles forward, Tolu Arokodare, is set to chase his maiden Premier League goal when Wolverhampton Wanderers take on Sunderland this Saturday.
The Nigerian international, fresh from duties with the Super Eagles, will hope to secure a starting spot in the clash.
Arokodare has featured in four league matches for Wolves this season but is yet to find the back of the net.
Wolves are preparing for a rare visit to the Stadium of Light, their first since a 3-0 Championship defeat in May 2018.
Historically, the Old Gold have struggled at Sunderland, winning just one of their last ten league trips there—a 3-1 Premier League triumph under Mick McCarthy back in May 2011.
Recent form, however, offers some optimism. Since manager Pereira shifted from a five-man to a four-man defensive setup, Wolves remain unbeaten in their last three outings across all competitions (W1 D2).
The Portuguese tactician is expected to maintain the same formation against Sunderland.
