Police Academy schedules screening for 12th regular course candidates

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, has announced that the screening exercise for candidates of its 12th Regular Course will take place from October 6 to 15, 2025.

Registrar of the Academy, Ekpere Ezeugwu, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, explaining that the exercise will include a computer-based test, medical checks, verification of physical features, and an interview with the selection board.

He emphasised that the screening will be conducted in batches across the ten-day schedule.

“For instance, candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bauchi (Batch A) will be screened on October 6,” Ezeugwu said.

“Candidates should note that they will not be attended to before or after the dates indicated against their states of origin.”

The registrar listed the documents required for the exercise, including original and photocopies of primary school certificates, SSCE results, JAMB slip, birth certificate or age declaration, local government indigene certificate, guarantor’s form, medical certificate of fitness from a government hospital, NIN slip, passport photographs, and the acknowledgement slip from the Academy’s admission portal.

Applicants are also expected to appear in white T-shirts, white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes.

Ezeugwu warned candidates to be wary of impostors seeking to exploit the process.
