The Accord Party governorship candidate for the 2027 Oyo State election, Oriyomi Hamzat, has constituted a media team to drive his campaign communications ahead of the poll.
The campaign organisation said the team comprises professionals in journalism, public relations, political strategy, digital communication and creative content.
A broadcast journalist and communications expert, Samuel Ibikunle, popularly known as ArugboBoisi, has been appointed the campaign’s official spokesperson.
Also appointed is Olabode Rufai Anisoloja, who will serve as Director of Strategic Communications and Public Engagement.
Other members of the team include Tobiloba Ogunsina, also known as Wokilumo, as Director of Publicity and Campaign Promotions, while new-media practitioner Badru Idris will head the New Media Directorate.
An experienced journalist, Gbenga Olayiwola, popularly known as Oyato, has been named Director of Media Logistics and Operations.
Edward Taiwo will serve as Director of Research and Political Communications, while creative professional Okikiola Oluwadamilare will oversee Content and Creative Services.
The campaign said the appointments were designed to strengthen its communication strategy by bringing media relations, publicity, digital engagement, research and creative production under one structure.
Hamzat directed the newly appointed team to commence work immediately as his campaign steps up political and media activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The campaign said the appointments were part of efforts to build a coordinated communication structure capable of engaging voters across traditional and digital media platforms.
