Major League Soccer outfit, Real Salt Lake have officially announced the signing of Nigerian forward, Victor Olatunji, from Czech side Sparta Prague.
The 25-year-old attacker has put pen to paper on a three-year contract, with an optional fourth year included in the deal.
Olatunji, known for his physical presence and sharp instincts in front of goal, arrives in the United States after a productive spell in Europe.
During his time at Sparta Prague, he scored 20 goals in 93 appearances across all competitions.
He will wear the No. 17 jersey for Real Salt Lake as he embarks on this next chapter of his career.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Olatunji shared his excitement about the move, “I’m really looking forward to playing in Utah and experiencing football in America.
“I’ve heard great things about the Real Salt Lake setup, and that gave me the motivation to come here.
“The fans are a crucial part of any club, and I can’t wait to play in front of them. They can expect my full commitment — I’ll give everything on the pitch, work hard, and aim to contribute with goals, assists, and whatever the team needs.”

RSL’s Chief Soccer Officer, Kurt Schmid, expressed confidence in the new signing’s potential to thrive in MLS.
“Victor is a player we’ve tracked for quite a while, and we’re delighted to finally bring him to Utah.
“His pace, strength, and smart movement in the box make him an exciting addition to our attack. We believe he has the quality to make a real impact,” Schmid said.
With his move now complete, Olatunji is set to begin his MLS journey, aiming to leave a mark on American soccer while helping Real Salt Lake push for success.
