The Nigerian Air Force has announced the release of names of candidates shortlisted for the Selection Board Interview for its Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said candidates who passed the 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test can now check the official NAF recruitment portal for their status.
According to him, the interview exercise is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna from April 27 to June 13, 2026.
“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted on December 5, 2025, are invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women into BMTC 46/2025,” Ejodame said.
He stressed that candidates must strictly adhere to the batch schedule assigned to them on the portal, warning that failure to report on the specified date would result in disqualification.
“All shortlisted candidates are required to report in line with their assigned dates. Candidates who fail to report as scheduled will forfeit their participation in the interview process,” he added.
The Air Force also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free, cautioning applicants against paying money to any individual or group.
“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the entire recruitment process is free of charge. Candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment at any stage,” Ejodame stated.
The aptitude test, conducted in December 2025, attracted over 20,000 applicants across centres in Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja.
Ejodame noted that the recruitment process is guided by merit and transparency, adding that selecting qualified personnel remains critical to the force’s operational effectiveness.
“The Nigerian Air Force remains committed to fairness and integrity in its recruitment process, as the quality of personnel is key to achieving its constitutional responsibilities,” he said.
