The operation took place on September 3, 2025, when a carefully planned air interdiction mission targeted a newly discovered terrorist enclave west of Zuwa in the general Sambisa area.

The mission was based on timely and credible intelligence, corroborated by aerial surveillance, to ensure that only legitimate targets were engaged.

Ejodame revealed that the operation specifically focused on hideouts harboring fighters and commanders responsible for recent hostilities around Bitta.

The precision strike reportedly destroyed key structures and eliminated militant operatives, thereby weakening the operational capability of insurgent groups in the area.
