A yet-to-be-identified man in Lagos State, has reportedly down while jet skiing at the Lekki-Ikoyi inland waterways.
According to Channels Tv, an eyewitness who saw the jet skier from afar said he was riding at a “very high speed” across the water body.
The incident has been confirmed by the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu.
He added that the agency was collaborating with the Lagos State Waterways Authority and divers to recover the body of a man verified to have sunk too deeply to be saved.
