I’m not Jake Paul, Joshua’s next opponent issues fierce warning

Albanian heavyweight, Kristian Prenga, has expressed strong confidence ahead of his July 25, 2026 showdown with former world champion Anthony Joshua in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, insisting he is being underestimated going into the bout.

Prenga, who has built a reputation for his knockout power with 20 KOs on his record, believes the matchup presents an opportunity to prove himself on the big stage while exposing weaknesses in Joshua’s arsenal.

He also warned that he intends to derail any discussions around a potential future Joshua–Fury fight.

He did not hold back in his assessment of the former champion’s durability, while also pointing to Joshua’s recent performances as evidence that he is ready for the challenge.

“He’s a great fighter, but he is going to regret picking me as his opponent,” Prenga told WBN.

“My manager, Keith Sullivan, has worked with Matchroom. Keith and Hearn put it together because they believe we can win.

“He’s still a great fighter but chinny. He beat Jake Paul, so what? I’m not Jake Paul, I’m a real fighter.”
