Real Madrid midfielder, Franco Mastantuono, has revealed that he feels a greater sense of freedom on the pitch under the guidance of Alvaro Arbeloa.
Arbeloa took over from Xabi Alonso earlier this month as head coach and led the team to a convincing victory against Villarreal over the weekend.
In an interview with El Partidazo, Mastantuono expressed his excitement about working with the new coach.
“Álvaro Arbeloa and his entire coaching staff instill a great deal of confidence in me.
“That’s the most important thing for a player, which is why I’m playing with a bit more freedom.
“I’m also grateful to this coaching staff and Xabi Alonso, who trusted me enough to bring me to Real Madrid.”
