The husband of social media personality Eniola Fagbemi, popularly known as Sisi Alagbo, Adesola Akeem, has publicly apologised following the circulation of a private video involving his wife and another individual.
The footage, which surfaced online earlier in the week, spread rapidly across messaging platforms and social media, triggering widespread public reactions and debate over privacy and consent in the digital space.
In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Akeem expressed regret over the incident, saying he accepted full responsibility for his actions and the backlash that followed.
“I write with a deep sense of responsibility and sincere remorse… I extend my heartfelt apologies to my family, friends, business associates, religious leaders, fans, and the Nigerian public,” he said.
He added that he understood the disappointment caused by the situation, noting, “I take full responsibility for my actions.”
Akeem also admitted that his conduct fell below the expectations of those who had supported him, adding that he was using the moment for reflection and personal correction.
“I am committed to making better decisions, rebuilding trust, and upholding integrity in my private and public life going forward,” he stated.
Sisi Alagbo had earlier issued her own apology via her verified Facebook page, describing the period as emotionally difficult and expressing remorse to those affected by the incident.
“I own my mistakes, and I apologise with all sincerity… I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me,” she wrote.
