FULL LIST: PSG, Barcelona shine at 2025 Globe Soccer Awards

Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona emerged as the standout clubs at the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards, with PSG dominating the major global categories while Barcelona’s stars, including Raphinha and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, claimed multiple individual honours on a night that celebrated excellence across world football.

Barcelona’s players made an early statement at the ceremony, as Raphinha was named Best LaLiga Player and Yamal claimed the Best U-23 Player award, underlining the club’s continued production of elite talent.

The annual ceremony was held on Sunday, December 28, in Dubai, where football’s biggest names gathered under the lights of the United Arab Emirates.

Organized by the Dubai Sports Council, the Globe Soccer Awards have remained a major fixture on the global football calendar since their inception in 2010.
Barcelona’s influence extended beyond individual accolades, with the Catalan giants named Best LaLiga Club, while head coach Hansi Flick was recognised as Best Coach. Atlético Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak also picked up the Best Goalkeeper award, rounding off a LaLiga-dominated segment early in the night.

In the Middle East category, Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned Middle East Player of the Year, further highlighting his lasting influence in the region.

Women’s football also featured prominently, with Barcelona star Aitana Bonmatí winning Women’s Player of the Year, finishing ahead of Mariona Caldentey, Melchie Dumornay, Alexia Putellas and Alessia Russo. Barcelona were also named Women’s Club of the Year, capping another outstanding season.
