Nottingham Forest head coach, Sean Dyche has offered a promising injury update on Super Eagles star, Ola Aina, who has been sidelined since September with a hamstring injury sustained while on international duty with Nigeria.
The 29-year-old defender is steadily progressing toward full fitness and recently appeared for Forest’s U-21 side in a match against Millwall.
Dyche revealed that Aina is becoming increasingly involved in team training, though caution is still needed.
“Ola is halfway through his progress in fitness, training more regularly with the team now, so that is good. Obviously, it’s been a long-term injury, so we have to be careful with that one,” he said.
Aina has featured in three league matches for the Tricky Trees this season.
