The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Bauchi State has mobilised 1,100 personnel across the state to ensure safety and security during the Easter celebrations.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Command’s spokesperson, Saminu Yusuf, said the deployment covers all 20 local government areas, with officers strategically positioned at worship centres, event venues, and other critical locations.

According to Yusuf, the State Commandant, Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde, announced the security arrangements while addressing officers and men of the corps ahead of the public holidays declared by the Federal Government.

“The Command has deployed a total of 1,100 personnel across the state to ensure the protection of lives and property during the Easter festivities,” Yusuf said.
