Chelsea have reportedly identified 11 players for possible departures as the club continues to trim its squad ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season.
The London club has been active in the transfer market, spending more than £300 million on new arrivals, including Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Valentin Barco, Danny Welbeck and Emmanuel Emegha.
According to The Athletic, the players placed on the transfer list are Enzo Fernández, Pedro Neto, Malo Gusto, Benoît Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Trevoh Chalobah, Marc Guiu, David Datro Fofana, Liam Delap, Nicolas Jackson and one other squad member.
Among the expected exits, Chalobah is reportedly on the verge of completing a £31 million move to Serie A club Como, while Neto has been linked with a reunion with manager Enzo Maresca at Manchester City.
Chelsea are expected to approve additional departures before the transfer window closes as the club seeks to reshape its squad following an extensive recruitment drive.
The Blues have experienced mixed fortunes during their pre-season campaign, recording one victory and two defeats from their opening three matches.
They began with an entertaining 6-4 win over Western Sydney Wanderers, displaying attacking flair but exposing defensive weaknesses after conceding four goals.
However, Chelsea suffered back-to-back losses in their next outings, falling 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur in Sydney before losing 1-0 to Juventus in Hong Kong despite creating several scoring opportunities.
Across the three matches, Chelsea have scored seven goals and conceded seven, underlining both their attacking strength and defensive concerns ahead of the new campaign.
The Blues will continue their pre-season schedule with friendlies against AC Milan on Saturday, Johor Darul Ta’zim on Sunday and Real Sociedad on August 15 as preparations intensify for the start of the Premier League season.
