João Pedro extends Chelsea contract until 2034

Chelsea forward João Pedro has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2034.

The Brazilian striker, who has become a key figure in Chelsea’s attack, has also taken over the club’s No. 9 shirt following his impressive performances since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2025.

His new deal comes amid reported interest from Barcelona and Arsenal, with both clubs said to have been willing to offer around €100 million for the forward.

João Pedro joined Chelsea and quickly made an impact under head coach Xabi Alonso, playing a major role in the club’s successful 2025 FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
