Calvin Bassey is fit and available for selection as Fulham gear up for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.
The Super Eagles defender had earlier been forced to withdraw from international duty last month after suffering a back problem, but he has now fully recovered and has been cleared to return to action.
His availability comes as a timely boost for Fulham, who are still pushing to secure a European competition spot as the season enters its decisive phase.
Marco Silva’s side, currently sit ninth on the Premier League table with 44 points and head into the Liverpool encounter on the back of a 3–1 victory over Burnley at Craven Cottage before the international break.
Bassey has been a key figure in Fulham’s backline this season, featuring in 25 league matches and contributing one goal from defence.
