Arsenal and Ukraine star, Oleksandr Zinchenko, has shut down his upscale restaurant in Kyiv just a year after its launch.
The 31-year-old defender, who opened the eatery in the summer of 2023, took a leap into the hospitality world alongside his wife, TV presenter Vlada Sedan.
The pair named the restaurant Inch, a nod to Zinchenko’s surname and the philosophy of gradual progress.
Sporting a strong football vibe, Inch was adorned with memorabilia including jerseys from legendary players like Ronaldinho.
But despite the glamour, speculation about the restaurant’s future began to surface earlier this year, culminating in its closure last month.
Zinchenko has now listed the restaurant for sale at £1.9 million.
According to the estate agents managing the deal, the listing includes, “Equipped kitchen, designer interior, favourable location. Ready-made business with profit. Everything is included – equipment, brand, documents.”
Located in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv has faced repeated air strikes since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in 2022, putting immense pressure on businesses in the area.
Zinchenko joined Manchester City in 2016 from Russian side Ufa and was instrumental in their domestic dominance, helping the club secure four Premier League titles, four League Cups, and an FA Cup.
In 2022, he made a £30 million switch to Arsenal and has since tallied 91 appearances and three goals for the Gunners.
