Arsenal agree personal terms with Valencia’s defender Mosquera

Valencia centre-back, Christian Mosquera, is on Arsenal’s radar this summer, with personal terms already agreed between the player and the Premier League side.

The Gunners are pushing ahead with plans to sign the 20-year-old after having an initial €14 million bid turned down by the La Liga outfit.

Despite the rejection, sources suggest that Valencia are open to a sale if Arsenal can return with an offer exceeding €20 million.

Renowned transfer insider, Fabrizio Romano, disclosed the development on Sunday via his official X handle.

Romano posted, “Arsenal have reached full agreement on personal terms with Christian Mosquera.

“New proposal set to be submitted after opening bid worth €14m got rejected by Valencia.

“Arsenal hope to get the deal done for fee in excess of €20m, talks underway.”

Should the deal go through, Mosquera is expected to provide depth in Mikel Arteta’s defensive setup, serving as a backup option to the established pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
