Air Peace has announced a temporary reduction in its Abuja–London flight operations, citing ongoing Jet A1 (aviation fuel) supply challenges affecting both domestic and global aviation.

In a statement shared on its official X handle on Saturday, the airline said the service will now operate three times weekly until July 1, down from its usual daily schedule.

“We wish to inform you that our Abuja to London service has been temporarily adjusted to three weekly flights until July 1.

“This is due to the current aviation fuel supply constraints affecting flight operations nationwide and around the world.

“This measure is necessary to maintain the highest standards of safety and operational reliability during this period, with full operational frequency on our London service scheduled to resume from July 1.

“We recognise that this adjustment may impact your travel plans, and we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding,” it said.

The airline added that it is closely monitoring developments in the fuel supply situation and engaging relevant stakeholders to mitigate disruptions.

It also reassured passengers of its continued commitment to safe, reliable, and customer-focused service delivery.
