Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has called down divine judgment on individuals he described as forces working to destabilise Nigeria.
The cleric made the pronouncement in a video he recently reposted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday.
The clip, originally recorded during a July 2018 church service, showed Enenche speaking forcefully against groups and individuals he claimed were fueling unrest in the country.
“There are agents of the devil in this nation who desire to keep our country in sorrow — some even hiding in positions of power and within the security forces,” he declared.
“But today, by the mantle of Elijah, I make demands and decree: they shall be buried!”
He further issued warnings to extremist groups and others he believes are threatening national peace.
“I have bad news for every jihadist — no matter where you came from or where your conspiracy was hatched — you came too late!” Enenche said in the sermon clip.
According to him, Nigerians will prevail over those working against the nation’s unity and destiny.
“We shall see the end of you; you shall not see the end of Nigeria,” he stated. “You shall not see the end of Christianity! We shall see the end of you!”
His comments come amid heightened global attention on religious tensions in Nigeria, following remarks reportedly made by former U.S. President Donald Trump warning of possible intervention if alleged targeted killings of Christians in the country continue.
In response to the growing debate, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, recently urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts to stamp out terrorism.
Adeboye advised President Bola Tinubu to give service chiefs a three-month deadline to dismantle terror networks and bring their financiers to justice, saying failure should warrant their resignation.
