Adeboye to lead special thanksgiving for Nigeria at 65

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, will on Sunday lead a national thanksgiving service in celebration of Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.

According to a statement by the church, the event, themed “The King of Kings,” will be held at the RCCG national headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

The church explained that the thanksgiving service was inspired by divine instruction and would include special intercessory prayers for public officials and national leaders.

“Under divine guidance, Pastor Adeboye will lead prayers for government executives, lawmakers, politicians, electoral bodies, peacekeeping agencies, political leaders, elder statesmen, students of political science, citizens’ rights groups, and Nigerians as a whole,” the statement said.
