Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, has revealed the name of her son with Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, as the child prepares to celebrate his first birthday.
Natasha disclosed the name in a social media post announcing plans for her son’s birthday celebration. She shared a birthday invitation flyer bearing his full name, King Gabriel Oche’abayie Esama Idibia.
Accompanying the invitation, the lawmaker expressed excitement over the milestone, writing, “My king turns 1 in a few days!!God is awesome. Yay”.
The announcement comes weeks after Natasha shared a video of herself helping the toddler take his first steps.
In another social media post, she was seen embracing the child, whom she has frequently featured in updates about her family.
Natasha and 2Baba welcomed their child in November 2025, months after their traditional wedding on July 25, 2025.
The private ceremony was attended by close family members, including the singer’s parents.
However, the couple’s marriage has been surrounded by controversy in recent months, with reports of disagreements and a possible separation.
In October 2026, Natasha fuelled speculation about their relationship status after dropping the Idibia surname and reverting to her maiden name, Osawaru, during proceedings at the Edo State House of Assembly.
She was also absent from 2Baba’s 51st birthday celebration in September, where the singer was pictured with his mother and four of his children.
The couple had earlier attracted public attention in August following a reported confrontation at an Abuja nightclub.
An eyewitness claimed that Natasha arrived at the venue with members of her entourage after learning that the singer was there.
The situation was reportedly brought under control after 2Baba intervened.
Despite the developments surrounding their relationship, Natasha’s latest announcement has drawn attention to their son as he approaches his first birthday.
