Hyacinth Idibia, younger brother to Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, has broken his silence amid the growing controversy involving the singer and his new wife, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
Hyacinth made the emotional appeal through an Instagram Story, sharing a short but striking message accompanied by lyrics from one of 2Baba’s classic songs.
The post immediately triggered fresh concerns among fans and observers.
“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant,” he wrote. “Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us save you, Oyinem’. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”
His statement is the strongest indication yet that the Idibia family may be stepping in to address the escalating tension between the couple.
The marital drama intensified after an alleged altercation in the United Kingdom, during which Natasha was reportedly heard shouting during a heated exchange with the singer. The situation led to police intervention and a brief arrest of 2Baba.
The issue resurfaced during a recent Instagram Live session hosted by broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where the couple engaged in an open confrontation that left viewers stunned and deepened concerns about the state of their relationship.
