Spanish champions, Barcelona returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion on Saturday, thrashing Deportivo Alaves 6-1 at the Camp Nou to recover from consecutive defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
The Catalan giants delivered an impressive performance in their Matchday 11 LaLiga encounter, overwhelming their visitors to secure a convincing victory and restore confidence after a difficult week.
Barcelona had endured disappointment in their previous outings, suffering defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and arch-rivals Real Madrid, results that increased pressure on the team to respond.
However, Saturday’s commanding display provided the perfect response, with Alaves struggling to contain Barcelona’s attacking threat throughout the encounter.
The 6-1 victory marked a significant turnaround for Barcelona as they returned to winning form in front of their home supporters.
For Alaves, the heavy defeat was a disappointing outcome as Barcelona made the most of their opportunity to get their campaign back on track.
