Rafiu Durosinmi scored for the second consecutive match as Genk overturned a two-goal deficit to defeat Westerlo 3-2 in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday.
Westerlo made a strong start, taking a 2-0 lead through Dylan Ourega before Genk defender Matte Smets inadvertently put the ball into his own net.
Durosinmi, however, gave Genk a lifeline just before the interval when he calmly converted a penalty to halve the deficit.
Bryan Heynen then completed the comeback before half-time, finding the equaliser in the 43rd minute to send both sides into the break level.
The Nigerian forward was substituted in the 66th minute, with Aaron Bibout taking his place.
Bibout made an immediate impact, scoring 11 minutes from full-time to complete Genk’s turnaround and seal all three points.
The result marked another impressive outing for Durosinmi, who continues to make his mark as the new Belgian league season gathers momentum.
