Real Madrid has moved to shut down growing speculation linking Michael Olise with a potential transfer, issuing an official statement to clarify its position amid widespread media reports connecting the Bayern Munich winger to the Spanish giants.
Reports in recent days had suggested that Olise, who currently plays for Bayern Munich and has attracted attention across Europe following his rapid rise, was being monitored as part of Real Madrid’s long-term recruitment planning.
However, the Spanish club has now publicly denied any form of contact.
In its official statement, the club firmly rejected the reports circulating in the media.
“Real Madrid wishes to state that it has not maintained any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned player, his representatives, or individuals close to him,” the statement read.
The clarification comes at a time when transfer speculation around Olise has intensified, with some reports linking his name to the broader financial ambition associated with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and his reported high-value transfer promise made during a recent presidential campaign narrative.
Earlier reports also connected that headline-grabbing figure to a potential mega-money signing strategy.
However, the club has separately clarified that the referenced €150 million proposal was actually submitted for Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez, a bid that was ultimately rejected, fuelling further speculation in the transfer market.
Beyond simply denying interest in Olise, Real Madrid also sought to reinforce its relationship with Bayern Munich, stressing long-standing respect between both European giants.
“Real Madrid wishes to highlight the excellent institutional relationship it maintains with Bayern Munich, with whom it shares a long history of mutual respect, cooperation and admiration,” the club stated.
It also expressed regret over the circulation of reports it described as inaccurate, adding that such claims “do not correspond to reality,” as it moved to draw a line under the rumours linking it to the French winger.
