German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, are “making another attempt” to sign Ethan Nwaneri from Arsenal this summer, according to Sky Sport Deutschland.
The Arsenal youngster spent the second half of the season on loan at Marseille after struggling for regular minutes with the Gunners.
The German outlet reports that Dortmund have already made enquiries about the 19-year-old’s situation.
Nwaneri is said to be “open” to a move to the Bundesliga club this summer, although a permanent deal is viewed as difficult because of the “high transfer fee” expected.
He remains under contract at Arsenal until 2030. A loan move is also considered complicated for Dortmund, but the club are still keeping close tabs on the England youth international.
During his loan spell at Marseille, Nwaneri featured in nine league matches, scoring twice. Before leaving Arsenal, he made six substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.
