UEFA has appointed German referee Daniel Siebert to take charge of the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, scheduled for May 30 in Budapest.
This will be Siebert’s first UEFA club competition final appointment, rounding off more than a decade as an international referee since he was listed in 2015.
The 42-year-old has already officiated nine Champions League matches this season, including Arsenal’s quarter-final clash with Sporting CP and their semi-final against Atlético Madrid, as well as PSG’s quarter-final tie against Liverpool.
His experience also extends to major international tournaments, having refereed at both Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
Siebert will be supported at the Puskás Aréna by fellow Germans Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn as assistant referees.
Meanwhile, the Video Assistant Referee duties will be handled by Bastian Dankert, completing an all-German officiating team for the high-stakes final in Hungary.
