Sunderland manager, Régis Le Bris, has expressed confidence that his side are fully prepared for today’s challenge against Manchester United at the Stadium of Light.
Speaking via the club’s official website, Le Bris stressed the importance of maintaining focus and discipline, warning that in the Premier League there is no room for complacency, even after a positive run of results.
Reflecting on a previous encounter, he highlighted how quickly matches can shift when concentration drops.
“The first 30 minutes, they were really dominant and they exposed us. It was a strong experience and it was useful for the games afterwards.
“It means when you are not ready in a small part of the game, the opponent can damage you. They have strong players with the ability to score at any moment.
“We have to show the best version of Sunderland this weekend.”
Sunderland head into the fixture aware of the threat posed by Manchester United, with Le Bris urging his players to maintain intensity from start to finish as they look to secure a strong result at home.
