Turkish football heavyweights, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe have reportedly joined the chase for Super Eagles forward, Tolu Arokodare, the striker currently on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Both Istanbul clubs are weighing up a potential loan move for the forward, with transfer expert Ekrem Konur providing insight into the situation.
“Fenerbahçe monitoring Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare. Galatasaray also interested. Loan deal seen as more realistic for Turkish clubs,” Konur wrote on X.
Rivals Beşiktaş are also said to be keeping tabs on the Nigerian international as interest in his services grows across Turkey.
Arokodare, 25, only linked up with Wolves last summer after sealing a move from Belgian side KRC Genk.
However, his stay in England could be short-lived, with the club facing the prospect of relegation from the Premier League this season.
Despite the uncertainty, the striker has managed six goals and two assists in 32 appearances so far this campaign.
Although he remains under contract with Wolves until 2029, Arokodare is reportedly open to a move should a suitable opportunity present itself.
