Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has reacted to his side’s dramatic draw against Manchester City.
Awoniyi’s club, Nottingham Forest, battled to a 2-2 draw with Manchester City in Wednesday night’s encounter at the Etihad Stadium.
The outcome leaves Forest hovering just outside the relegation zone.
Awoniyi was introduced late in the contest, featuring for 11 minutes in the pulsating clash.
City’s goals were scored by Antoine Semenyo and Rodri, while Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson found the net for Forest.
After the game, the Nigerian international commended his teammates for their determination.
“Good away points earned and top fight from the Lads. We keep going,” he wrote on Instagram.
The striker has now made 10 league appearances for Forest this season.
