Super Eagles head coach, Éric Chelle, has spoken about his ambition to one day take charge of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Chelle boosted his profile on the continent after leading Nigeria to a third-place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, a performance that drew attention from several national teams.
The 48-year-old tactician is now being linked with different coaching opportunities following the tournament.
Chelle, however, has set his sights on an even bigger target, saying he hopes to become the first African to coach the European powerhouse.
“My dream is to become the first African coach to manage Real Madrid,” he told RMCsport.
The Malian began his managerial career with French amateur club Groupe Sportif Consolat in 2014. He later went on to manage the Mali national team between 2022 and 2024.
