Montassar Talbi has vowed that the Carthage Eagles will leave no stone unturned in their quest for victory over Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
Sami Trabelsi’s side will face Nigeria in their second Group C match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday at the Complexe Sportif de Fès.
The North Africans kicked off their campaign with a strong 3-1 triumph over Uganda’s Cranes on Tuesday.
However, they know the Super Eagles will pose a sterner challenge as Tunisia aims to secure an early spot in the Round of 16.
Taibi emphasized that his team will give their all to earn maximum points. “When we play against big teams, we give our best. We have already played against strong opponents and we performed well. To win this game, we need to trust ourselves and give everything we have,” he told CAFonline.
He added that unity and focus will be key against Éric Chelle’s side. “Everyone in the group must stay united and continue working as if this is our first game. We must protect our discipline, our concentration, and always give our best.”
